IntelliMagic is one of the sponsors of the Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest (BAPC).  The BAPC is a yearly programming contest for student teams from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This year, the finals will be held at Leiden University.

The challenge the participants are facing is to solve as many problems as possible out of a given problem set by writing computer programs. They have five hours in which to devise algorithms as well as implement them in code.

Els Das, director of IntelliMagic, says: “To succeed in this contest, teamwork, intelligence and deep programming skills are essential. Since these are the same characteristics that are important for our software development teams, IntelliMagic decided to sponsor the BAPC. With this sponsorship, we would like to get additional visibility for IntelliMagic as an employer that offers interesting jobs for software developers in the heart of Leiden.“

The finals of the BAPC will be held on Saturday October 24th in the center of Leiden and IntelliMagic will be present to hand over the monetary prizes to the winning teams.
