How to Compare z/OS Workloads to Previous Day/Week/Month
Comparing workload profiles for a yesterday to the same weekday for a prior week often reveals optimization opportunities that could eventually become disasters looking for a date.
Easy visibility to data offers the capability to quickly compare values from the current interval with any other interval in the database, ideally with a single operation.
One common use of this capability is to determine if an observed data value represents a normal occurrence or is an anomaly. This also greatly enhances the ability to quickly identify patterns and trends.
