Merle SadlerMerle Sadler is a senior consultant with IntelliMagic focusing on tape performance for Oracle/STK VSM and IBM TS7700 environments.

Prior to joining IntelliMagic, he spent 7 years as a MVS systems programmer and then 6 years as a lead MVS systems programmer with extensive knowledge of disk, tape and IBM mainframes at both small and large IT departments.

With StorageTek, Merle spent 3 years as a VSM test engineer and then the next 17 in the VSM engineering development group.  There he developed, maintained and enhanced VSM, disk and library analysis, simulation and performance tools for pre and post sales storage engineers.
