IntelliMagic Direction is the successor of the original Disk Magic software product.
Disk Magic was used for storage performance modeling and capacity forecasting for IBM storage products. The end-user product, IntelliMagic Direction, supports many other disk storage systems including those from IBM, HP, HDS and EMC.
IBM began licensing Disk Magic in 1994. It is currently out of support, but IBM and IBM Business Partners may still use it on a case-by-case basis.

IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS is the successor of the original RMF Magic software product.
IBM began licensing RMF Magic from IntelliMagic in 2003 to use it for z/OS replication sizing studies. It is no longer supported.
The end-user product IntelliMagic Vision has diverged significantly in terms of functionality and applications from the original RMF Magic.
IntelliMagic Vision’s AI-driven analytics enables z/OS experts to proactively monitor and manage their end-to-end z/OS environment, prevent disruptions, optimize performance, improve support for new applications, reduce software costs, eliminate unnecessary hardware purchases, and preserve the reliability and availability that mainframes are known for.

IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS Virtual Tape is the successor of the original Batch Magic software product.
Batch Magic was licensed by IBM for use by IBMers and IBM Business Partners to size TS7700 configurations for their customers. In 2014 the end-user version of Batch Magic was replaced with IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS Tape, which has a different and larger feature set.
