Supported Areas

IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS works for all IBM z System mainframes with z/OS 1.12 or above, and for all z/OS-attached disk and tape storage systems of all vendors. The input is SMF and RMF or CMF. There needs to be SMF data collection active on all z/OS images, with either RMF or CMF to create record types 70 to 79.

IntelliMagic Vision itself can either run on z/OS with a DB2 database or on Windows with an SQL Server or DB2 database. The IntelliMagic Vision Reporter runs on Windows, and the Web Reporter runs on any browser on any operating system.
